focused on for the content of the webpage that wants to be viewed for those who
are looking for information on gymnastics in the Olympics. These keywords are
looked at in multiple different ways.
Placement
Placement is one of the different ways that keywords are looked at. The search
engine is going to look for the web pages that have the keywords close to the
top of the page; the sooner the website mentions the keyword, the more likely it
is to be a good match. Any website that is looking for search engine
optimization should take note; SEO writing is all about putting the keywords in
the right spot. If you wait too long to mention the keyword, your page will not
be SEO and will not register on search engine results.
Percentage/Frequency
One of the main things, if not the main thing, that the search engine websites
look for is the use of the keyword itself. The websites are looking for a
certain percentage of the keyword to show up on the page, or in a certain part
of the content. While this number varies from search engine to search engine,
there are two major schools of thought; some want content around 2-4% keyword
density, while others are looking for something more in the field of 7-9%
density.
It is important to understand that the keyword density makes or breaks SEO. The
search engine is looking for the websites that have the best and most amount of
information on the keywords that were searched. Keyword density is one of the
few ways to actually check for this.
SEO writing seems simple, but can be difficult for those who do not understand
exactly what SEO writing entails. In essence, SEO writing is all about the
keywords. The search engine websites focus on keywords as their main source for
filtering websites. Those who use to few will not show up at the top of the
results. Those websites that have too many of the keywords will be marked for
spam and will be kicked out of the search engine results altogether. SEO writing
is all about finding the perfect balance for keywords.
